30th Saipan Agricultural Fair

Saipan is celebrating the 30th Agricultural Fair at the 4-H Building at Civic Center Beach in Susupe on June 15 from 9:00am to 4:30pm. NMC-CREES will not only be present, but have a BIG show of hands. As the program we planned for you is too extensive to fit into this Nes Section, we decided to give the Agricultural Fair its own page. The program is still under development, so check it often to stay up to date.


Agricultural Development Training

Saipan Sabalu Farmers Market, Inc. had organized an Agricultural Cooperative Development Training held by Kim Coontz and Luis from the California Center for Cooperstive Development at Fiesta Resort from February 27 to March 1. For those who weren't able to attend this training, we have posted the manual in our Download Section


Crop Calendar available

NMC-CREES has, in collaboration with the Chamorro and Carolinian Language Policy Commission, developed an Availability Calendar showing the harvest season for major crops in the CNMI.

You can download and print your own copy from here, or pick one up at the CREES Office.

NMC-CREES presents at 31st APIL General Assembly

The Association of Pacfiic Island Legislators (APIL) held their 31st General Assembly in Saipan from June 20-23 at the Fiesta Resort & Spa. Goal of this assembly was to "strengthen Local Economies throughout the the Blue Continent". As NMC-CREES is a driving force for economical develompment for the CNMI, we were invited to present on our program. Read more in our News/Events section. Download a PDF file of the presentation.
